About mo:)

mo:) started in 2009 as a side hustle, helping underfunded nonprofits write grant proposals that cut through the clutter. Over time, that focus grew into something broader—and stronger.

Today, we’re a boutique content studio built for the overlooked: the small but mighty, the under-resourced, the duct-tape-and-determination crews that keep communities running. Our clients range from emerging startups to solo professionals, workforce centers, and mission-driven teams who need clean copy, fast turnaround, and zero fluff.

We specialize in writing and editing the practical stuff that keeps businesses and agencies going—training manuals, terms and conditions, company bios, policy guides, RFPs, disclaimers, job descriptions, and more. We also offer plain-language translation for teams navigating federal guidelines, ADA compliance, or multilingual outreach.

We're structured as an LLC, but we operate with the clarity and conscience of a benefit corp. Our values show up in the work, the pricing, and the way we communicate—direct, dependable, and human.
